Vector Energy presents the LSPF series DC fuses and fuse holders from LS Electric, especially indicated to guarantee the safety and performance of photovoltaic installations up to 1500Vdc thanks to their gPV curve.
The LSPF series is made up of two product ranges, depending on the working voltage of 1000 Vdc (32M model) or 1500Vdc (32H). The cylindrical fuses cover intensities from 2 to 32, with a gPV curve and 20kA breaking power according to IEC-EN 60269-6 standard. The fuse holder base allows easy and convenient placement of the fuse in the installation, allowing its status to be displayed using LEDs and guaranteeing quick access and replacement.
DC fuses in a photovoltaic installation are crucial for protection and safety, since their main function is to interrupt the flow of current in the event of overload or short circuit, preventing damage to solar panels and equipment. It’s installation at strategic points in the system guarantees effective protection and prevention of fires and major damage, thus ensuring the continuity of solar energy generation and the integrity of the system.
