The new installation of SUNVEC Smart Solar Inverter inverters of Solideo Renovables in the university center IQS Barcelona (Institut Químic de Sarrià) has been a challenge in the communications system for which we have developed a solution that we want to share with you:
1) The installation consists of 90kW of solar production with 3 SUNVEC 30kW inverters located in 3 different buildings. The big challenge has been to connect the inverters together to manage the production, monitoring and zero injection of the system in common using the existing communications network in these buildings.
2) Vector Energy has developed a decentralized solution that jointly controls any number of SUNVEC inverters located hundreds of meters apart. Communications between the devices can be by RS485 wiring, Ethernet cable, Wifi or any combination thereof.
3) With this new system, our customers are assured of zero grid feed-in production at any point of their choice, regardless of the distance and without any inverter having to be located close to that point. In addition, it is possible to monitor production in the cloud in real time, both per inverter and as a whole. This new system has been approved for zero injection according to RD 244/2019 by an independent laboratory.
