Vector Energy introduces Peter Electronic’s new Versistart VSpIII digital starter range up to 600kW, intended for a wide variety of applications requiring a compact and robust device for soft starting or optimal shutdown combined with a high degree of electric motor protection.
The VSpIII digital starters cover power ratings from 11kW to 600kW (with currents from 24A up to 1250A at soft loads) with three-phase power supply (200 to 525Vac, 690Vac on request) and incorporate the integrated motor protection bypass relay. These devices efficiently reduce current and torque during acceleration, incorporate the internal delta (6-wire) and PTC connection that offers complete and user-customizable motor protection. The robustness and wide range of functions of this equipment makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications, from extraction systems to ventilation and pumping, wood saws, mills or packaging, graphic arts or textile machinery.
The LCD console allows easy programming by selecting basic parameters with presetting according to application and displays real-time graphs of motor performance.
The VSpIII range incorporates a USB port and different communication options: DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, Profibus and Profinet.
