Input inductances INVZ

0.00

INVZ inductances protect the frequency converter against overvoltages and micro-cuts occurring in the grid and limit the converter’s switching current. On the other hand, they reduce the current harmonics injected by the converter into the grid.

HOW TO REDUCE DISTURBANCES?

How to reduce the disturbances generated by frequency inverters?
The variable speed drives generate two main types of disturbances in the installation: harmonic distortion (originating in the rectifier bridge) and electrical noise (radiated or conducted, produced by the inverter bridge).

Harmonic distortion: The INV inductances reduce the current harmonics that the inverter injects into the grid and also limit the inverter’s switching current and protect it against overvoltages and grid micro-voltages.
Electrical noise: EMC/RFI input filters reduce conducted electrical noise, while choke ferrites and LC filters reduce emissions between the drive and the motor.

For more information see the VMC guide to optimize the installation of frequency converters using chokes and filters.
