LSIS holds a record with one of the standard frequency inverters of the series Starvert
LS Industrial Systems (LSIS) has managed to reach the figure of 2 million units sold of iG5A, one of standard models of Starvert series variable frequency drives.
Since its introduction in 2003, iG5A has become one of best seller in Automation division of the Korean multinational, thanks to its compact design and the versatility of its characteristics, being used mainly in industrial facilities, ventilation systems, pumps and belts conveyors.
With the adoption of the iG5A, an average energy saving of as much as 20~35% can be achieved. As such, given 9,000MW, the company’s two million drives are calculated to have saved around 2,000MW of electric energy in total to date.
This equals the amount of power generated by two nuclear power plants in one year, or to the annual power consumption of 200 skyscrapers the size of the 63 Building in Yeouido, Seoul, or to that of three million households.
