DC fuses and circuit breakers from LS Electric up to 1500Vdc

VECTOR Energy presents the LSPF series DC fuses and switchgear from LS Electric, especially designed to ensure the safety and performance of photovoltaic installations up to 1500Vdc thanks to their gPV curve.

The LSPF series consists of two product ranges, according to the working voltage of 1000Vdc (model 32M) or 1500Vdc (32H). The cylindrical fuses cover intensities from 2 to 32A, with a gPV curve and a cut-off power of 20kA according to IEC-EN 60269-6 standard. The fuse base allows for easy and comfortable placement of the fuse in the installation, allowing for visual inspection of its status via LEDs and ensuring quick access and replacement.

DC fuses in a photovoltaic installation are crucial for protection and safety, as their primary function is to interrupt the current flow in the event of overload or short circuit, preventing damage to the solar panels and equipment. Installing them at strategic points in the system ensures effective protection and the prevention of fires and major damage, thereby ensuring the continuity of solar energy generation and the integrity of the system.
