Vector Energy introduces the new range of SUNVEC Storage Block battery energy storage systems (BESS) for a wide range of applications in commercial and industrial (C&I) environments, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and data centers with intelligent management and continuity of supply needs.
The Block solution is available in a modular cabinet format expandable from 125 to 375 kVA of power and from 260 to 780 kWh of storage.
SUNVEC Block guarantees the best response in applications where intelligent energy management (peak shaving, energy arbitrage, solar self-consumption, demand flexibility), continuity of supply (energy backup and resilience, standby and blackstart), and grid stability are essential.
The “Made in EU” design and manufacturing of the Block solution, led by Vector Energy’s R&D division in Barcelona, allows for a high degree of customization of the standard BESS solution to suit each user and application. The Energy Management System (EMS) interprets real-time operating data for precise energy flow control and remote access, complying with NIS2 cybersecurity regulations. Block’s robust construction ensures proper system climate control and immediate response to any incident.
A comprehensive catalog of services accompanies every stage of the BESS and its components’ lifecycle, including consulting and commissioning, maintenance contracts, and warranties. Block’s batteries are specifically prepared for Battery Passport (a mandatory digital reporting process in the EU starting February 2027) to ensure full transparency regarding their origin, carbon footprint, and circularity throughout their entire lifecycle.
