Vector Energy presents VDSmart Connect, an innovative digital platform designed for the monitoring, management, and remote control of variable frequency drives (VFDs), enabling the optimization of performance in industrial installations and pumping systems.
The solution is delivered through an intuitive and user-friendly application, geared towards both end users and professional installers, simplifying equipment monitoring and improving operational efficiency. VDSmart Connect allows the management of up to eight VFDs from the LS Electric and VD Series ranges from a single environment, providing a comprehensive and centralized overview of the installation.
Among its key features, the platform incorporates advanced tools for customer and plant management, allowing for clear and accessible information structuring. Furthermore, it offers remote control capabilities for the VFDs, enabling real-time operation of the equipment without requiring on-site visits.
One of the distinguishing features of VDSmart Connect is its configurable visualization system using “skins,” adapted to different applications such as irrigation, multi-pump systems, or generic environments. This enhances the user experience and data interpretation depending on the type of installation.
For professional users, the platform also includes a permissions management system, allowing the definition of different access and control levels for each user, ensuring operational security. In addition, it offers continuous monitoring of installation performance, access to advanced drive parameters, and a comprehensive alarm management system that facilitates the rapid detection and resolution of incidents. Through VDSmart, it is also possible to download the drive’s energy consumption data, necessary for managing Energy Saving Certificates (CAEs). The VDSmart Connect app is free and available on Google Play and the App Store.
