In the face of the massive blackout that occurred on April 28 in Spain and Portugal, from VECTOR Energy and SUNVECE We can do nothing but stand in solidarity with all those affected and hope for a swift and complete normalization in the shortest possible time.

The great impact on citizens and the business community that this one-second electrical glitch (technically known as “zero electricity”) has caused us for hours leads us to reflect on the importance of adequate investment in the grid to accelerate the energy transition, with a backup system properly sized for current and future needs and a more robust and distributed digital grid.

Support for energy security to ensure the continuity of the supply of energy will be a key factor in the future to maintain energy sovereignty and resilience in critical situations. Likewise, support for the technological development of efficient energy infrastructures and the national production of critical solutions that provide an effective and flexible energy response in a network called to become increasingly intelligent will also be key.

At 𝗩𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 and 𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗖 we continue working on our photovoltaic generation solutions and energy management for both domestic and industrial environments, as well as large photovoltaic plants, so that this necessary future can become a reality as soon as possible.
