Moving towards a Sustainable Future: SUNVEC Highlights in 2023

In line with the vision of a cleaner and more sustainable future promoted by the Association of Renewable Energy Producers (APPA), SUNVEC, Vector Energy’s solar inverter division is proud to have been a fundamental part of the advancement of the photovoltaic self-consumption sector in the past year.

APPA’s 2023 Annual Photovoltaic Self-Consumption Report provides a clear perspective on the state of the industry, and we are pleased to reinforce the relevance of this sector and our contribution to this movement towards a more autonomous and green society.

SUNVEC in 2023: Adaptation and Strength in a Changing Context

2023 marked a milestone for SUNVEC where adaptation and strength became protagonists in a changing context. After excepcional 2022, driven by excepcional conditions, 2023 demonstrated the robustness of the sector and the adaptability of SUNVEC to the changing reality.

The record installer in 2022 was influenced by temporary factors, such as Next Generation funds and unique market conditions. Although 2023 did not replicate these numbers, this does not reflect a decrease in the importance of the sector, but rather a consolidation and adaptation to more realistic conditions.

It is crucial to understand that changes in installed power do not indicate stagnation, but rather a response to global and local variables. SUNVEC, committed to sustainability, remains an essential pillar in this journey towards a cleaner and more efficient energy future. (We face the new reality with determination and continue to build a brighter tomorrow together).

Commitment to the Energy Transition: Achievements of 2023

During 2023, SUNVEC carried out a total of 1200 installations, consolidating us as a leading player in the solar inverter sector. Our commitment to quality and efficiency is reflected in each of these installations, where we collaborate closely with installation companies to satisfy the energy needs of homes and businesses.

The use of SUNVEC inverters in these installations not only ensured optimal performance but also contributed significantly to the production of clean energy. Together, these installations generated an impressive total of 17.5 GWh of solar energy, marking a significant milestone in our mission to promote the adoption of renewable energy sources.

Positive Environmental Impact:Contributing to the Reduction of CO2 Emissions

One of the highlights of our performance in 2023 was the significant reduction in carbon dioxide emissions. Thanks to the generation of clean energy through our facilities, an estimated saving of more than 3,500 tons of CO2. This positive environmental impact reinforces our determination to continue being leaders in the transition towards a more sustainable energy matrix.

A 2023 of Consolidation and Commitment Although 2023

Did not manage to replicate the excepcional conditions that made 2022 an exceptionally good year, it meant a strengthening of the sector and confirmed its guarantee and reliability in less favorable circumstances. This period of consolidation demonstrates that photovoltaic self-consumption is a solid and sustainable investment in the long term.
